Shelbourne’s 2-0 win against Cobh Ramblers on Saturday was made part of FARE Football People Weeks through a number of initiatives run by the 1895 Trust and supported by FARE, the FAI and Shelbourne FC.

Residents of the Mosney direct provision centre were invited to attend as a series of podcasts featuring Shels players’ experiences of racism were distributed around the ground.
The winners of the art competition to design the cover of the matchday programme were also presented with their prizes at half-time.

Children from Mosney were invited to meet the first team players and coaching team in the dressing room after the match.
Thanks to FARE, the club, the FAI and all who supported us on the night.
