Launch night a roaring success

aa185_1399_0702The 1895 Trust officially launched on Thursday last, with Shelbourne legends Mark Rutherford, Tony Sheridan, Jim Crawford and Stuart Byrne helping to launch the new Supporters Trust at the storied Dublin club.
With 27 new members signed up on the night, the Trust’s membership now stands at 64. The Trust is targeting of 200 members by the end of the season, so the support shown by the Shels community so far is nothing short of fantastic.
Prospective members can now also sign up using an online registration system, with the same ‘pay what you want’ scheme in place, at the1895trust.com/join. The Trust aims to hold an AGM in the near future, details of which will be released on the1895trust.com as soon as possible.
Thanks to all who came down to Tolka Park and made the launch a special night.

Membership now open!

At tonight’s game against Dundalk we will be taking membership applications during half time. In order for the trust to be as inclusive and accessible as possible, we have established a “pay what you can afford” fee structure with a minimum yearly fee of 15 Euro and a suggested fee of 50 Euro. Members can also contribute more than this to support our aims if they wish. As a one member, one vote organization, all members’ say is equal no matter what amount they give. We also hope to have our online system for taking memberships up and running within the coming two weeks.

Launch event

Our launch event is on the 28th of March at 8pm in the Tolka Bar and we have some very special guests lined up on the night. If you haven’t already, please RSVP to shelstrust@gmail.com to reserve your place.
