The 1895 Trust has applied for membership of the Football Against Racism in Europe Network (FARE).
If accepted, we will become part of a European alliance of football organisations dedicated to tackling discrimination in society. Benefits of the membership will include:
– Access to, and information about, events hosted by other members of the network.
– The opportunity to contribute as an organisation to the fight against racism in football and in broader society.
– The right to use the FARE logo on our website and in promotional material.
Our membership needs to be ratified by the board of FARE, we should hear within 30 days if we’ve been successful or not.
The 1895 Trust will again participate in FARE’s Football People week (formerly FARE week) – a two week period in October where attention is drawn to the positive affects of multiculturalism in football.
