Visit to the Áras: The 1895 Trust’s Financial Officer, Ken Buckmaster, was part of a group from Irish supporters’ trusts thatmet with President Michael D Higgins last week. The group presented the Heart of the Game handbook to President Higgins.
Along with Ken, the group consisted of project manager Niamh O’Mahony, researcher Shane Tobin, and Pat Lyons from FORAS, Shamrock Rovers chairman Jonathan Roche, the Dundalk Community Trust’s Simon Blackmore and Sean Dunleavy of Galway United Supporters’ Trust. President Higgins, who delivered a message of support prior to the project workshop last November, was presented with a framed copy of the handbook. You can download a PDF of the handbook here.
