Financial Officer: Ken Buckmaster – Ken acts as financial officer, overseeing the Trust’s finances and preparing financial reports for the Trust. Ken has ten years of experience as a chartered accountant, both at home and abroad.
Membership and Volunteering Officer: Olivia Smyth – As Membership and Volunteering Officer, it is Olivia’s job to manage the Trust’s membership systems and launch membership drives, as well as sourcing volunteers for the trust in line with legal guidelines. Olivia runs her own business and has a background in tax accounting.
Fundraising Officer: Martin Grehan – Martin’s job, as Fundraising Officer, is responsible for generating fundraising ideas for the Trust and ensuring the execution of these ideas. Martin has years of experience in community activism, charity and volunteer work and is a qualified researcher and data analyst.
Community Officer: Donnchadh Mac Aogáin – Donncadh is Community Officer, with responsibility for acting as a liaison between the Trust, Shelbourne FC and the various other groups within the club. He is also responsible for any charity- or community-based initiatives carried out by the Trust. Donnchadh is an assistant coach at Shelbourne under 18s and works as a primary school teacher.
Communications Officer: Niall Farrell – As Communications Officer, Niall is responsible for communication between the trust and the members, as well as the general public and other trusts. Niall has extensive experience with charities and community organisations and works as a freelance NGO consultant and sub-editor – as well as volunteering at Extratime.ie.
We hope that you, our members, will join with us in wishing the new committee the very best in their work over the next year.
The 1895 Trust has also decided to sponsor a first team player for the rest of the season, as per the business plan which was discussed at the AGM. We have decided to sponsor Alex Prizeman – so you can see our name in the programme at every home match.
