The next meeting of the working group is set for Thursday, February 7th at 8pm in the Tolka Bar. The 1895 Trust hopes to update fans on our legal registration and plans for a fan survey before the meeting splits into two groups; the trust logistics working group and the club promotions and volunteering group. The trust logistics group will discuss, amongst other things, trust fundraisers and plans for a launch event, as well as club promotions during the season. On the agenda for the club promotions and volunteering group will be a discussion about volunteering, including matchday stewarding, postering and schools outreach. These agendas aren’t set in stone, though, so if you have anything you’d like to raise please let us know- email shelstrust@gmail.com.
The 1895 Trust have received several entries for the competition to select a logo for the trust, but there’s still well over two weeks to go until the deadline. So if you think you might have a design worth entering, please email us at shelstrust@gmail.com by 6pm on February 11th. It doesn’t matter what format it’s in, as long as we can see it. Images should reflect the tradition and history of Shelbourne FC, and contain no copyrighted or offensive material.
Plans are in place for a trust fundraiser on February 10th in the Tolka Bar. We’ll be televising the final of the Africa Cup of Nations live. It’s been an entertaining tournament so far, so hopefully the final will be one to remember. On the night, we hope to run a raffle as well as some other competitions to raise funds for the trust’s activities. So again, mark that date in your diary- February 10th.
