After Shelbourne’s victory in Longford last Saturday, the club have received fines and an official warning from the FAI as well as an official complaint from Longford Town regarding numerous alleged misdemeanors of some of our supporters. Following this, the Board of the club have called a meeting to discuss arrangements going forward for away games with representatives invited from all organised groups at the club (SSDG, The 1895 Trust, Briogáid Dearg and Reds Independent).
The Trust Committee of Management are looking for members’ and fans’ views on the issues at hand, in order to maintain the great away support the club has. The opinion of our members and the clubs fans is greatly appreciated, as is its support from the dedicated fans willing to travel with the club across the country and the committee sees the discussion with the fans as vital going forward.
